Joining
There are many joining methods for piece work. Some prefer hand sewing through the back loops, some prefer to crochet together and I’ve even seen people use a sewing machine to join!
I prefer to crochet parts together using double crochet, it does leave a seam on the back but it’s hard wearing and leaves a neat front.
Step 1
Lay your work out and ensure all pieces are facing the same way, I like to work from one end of the work to the other in rows to minimise ends.
Step 2
Join through both corners with a double crochet and through each stitch into both pieces make a dc.
Step 3
When all pieces are joined carefully weave in the ends making sure they’re well secured.
