Round 1 - Yarn A
All rounds are worked with the right side facing.
Depending on preference, either make a magic circle or ch 4 and join with a slip stitch to form a ring. Alternatively, ch 2 and crochet into the second chain from the hook.
Ch 1 (does not count as a stitch), then make 6 dc into the ring. Do not join to the first dc. Cut yarn.

Round 2 - Yarn A
Join Yarn A into the first dc with a htc2tog, ch 1, then make a htc2tog and ch 1 into each of the next 4 stitches. Make 1 htc2tog into the final dc. Cut yarn.
Stitch count: 6 htc2tog, 5 ch-1 spaces
Round 3 - Yarn B
Join Yarn B with a standing dc into the first htc2tog. Make 1 dc into the same stitch, then 1 dc into the next ch-1 space.
Continue around, working 1 dc into each htc2tog and each ch-1 space. In the final htc2tog, make 2 dc. Join to the first dc with a slip stitch. Cut yarn.

Round 4 - Yarn A
Skip the first dc. Join Yarn A with a standing tc into the second dc. Make another tc into the same stitch.
Skip the next stitch, then make 2 tc into the next dc. Ch 1, skip the next dc, then make 2 tc into the next stitch, ch 1.
Repeat this sequence to the end, finishing by skipping the last dc. Cut yarn.

Round 5 - Yarn B
Join Yarn B with a standing dtc into the first skipped dc from Round 3.
Make 1 dc into each of the next 2 tc from Round 4, then make 1 dtc into the next skipped stitch from Round 3.
